Brian Singer has exited a successful career as Americas Chief Investment Officer of UBS Global Asset Management in order to manage his own money and focus on various not-for-profit activities.

While at UBS Global Asset Manager he was responsible for asset allocation and currency strategies, and developing integrated risk analysis and management capabilities for application throughout the business. He and his team set strategies for $200 billion of multi-asset and multi-currency portfolios. He was a member of the UBS Global Asset Management Executive Committee and a member of the UBS Group Managing Board.

Mr. Singer is vice-chairman of the CFA Institute Board of Governors. The CFA Institute is a global membership organization that awards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and leads the investment industry by setting the highest standards of ethics and professional excellence and vigorously advocating for fair and transparent capital markets. He is recognized for his many contributions to investment publications, having received numerous awards and much recognition, including a Graham and Dodd Scroll.

He graduated from Northwestern University in Economics and has an MBA from the University of Chicago.

He lives in Glencoe, Illinois with his wife, Linda and two children, Margo and Andy.
