Chairman, Conference and Research Companies
Mr. Jorgensen is the majority owner of six industry based conference and
research companies, which in turn own and manage over 200 conferences and several
membership based research groups focused on biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, health
care, insurance, financial services, entertainment and infrastructure development.
CBI Research, Inc. organizes 100 business-to-business conferences annually, largely
in pharmaceuticals, insurance and health care. WRG Research, Inc. currently
organizes about 50 business-to-business conferences a year in finance, health
care, entertainment and sports. Cambridge Healthtech Institute organizes 50 biotechnology
and pharmaceutical development conferences a year. Cambridge Healthtech
Advisory provides membership based advisory services in biotechnology and pharmaceutical
research, development, and marketing and produces research reports.
The World Health Care Congress was launched January 26-27, 2004 in conjunction
with The Wall Street Journal and CNBC. This partnership will be expanding on
this new franchise in both Europe and the United States.
Mr. Jorgensen was born in Arendale, Norway in 1947 and graduated from Harvard
College in 1969 with honors in Political Science. He resides in Concord, Massachusetts
with his wife Kathy and three children Lorens, Nicholas and Kristen.
